About Us
Sunlight Building Services was started in 1986 by its current owner and operator Gene Donaldson. Gene started cleaning windows in Atlanta while attending graduate school and started his own company in Birmingham. An experienced mountain climber he soon started cleaning low to high rise office building exteriors. Gene has been trained and certified as a professional window cleaner and also in pressure washing, glass restoration and waterproofing. All our workers are legal hourly employees, not subcontractors, with extensive training in high rise safety. Our employees are certified by OSHA and IWCA (International Window Cleaners Association).
